Whats The Process? Dental Extraction
Easy 4 Step Process
Step 1 - Assessment and Anesthesia
The dentist assesses the tooth's condition and administers local anesthesia to numb the area around the tooth, ensuring a pain-free procedure.
Step 2 - Extraction
Using specialized instruments, the dentist carefully loosens the tooth from its socket in the jawbone and gently removes it.
Step 3 - Socket Care
After extraction, the dentist may clean the extraction site and may place gauze over the area to control bleeding and promote blood clot formation.
Step 4 - Post-Extraction Care
The dentist provides instructions for post-extraction care, which may include guidelines for managing pain, swelling, and bleeding, as well as advice on eating and oral hygiene practices to promote healing.
